This year's Enterprise Challenge was the biggest in the competition's 14-year history with 286 applications from students across the university. Every year, students compete to win the coveted title of 糖心Vlog Entrepreneur of the Year and an impressive 拢5000 cash prize for their business. Funded by Santander, the Enterprise Challenge is an annual competition that provides mentoring, training and funding for entrepreneurial students who want to pursue an idea. All students and recent graduates of up to two years out are eligible to apply.
At the Grand Finals, 12 students pitched their ideas to our expert panel of judges and a crowd of 100 people, including university leaders, academics, entrepreneurs and fellow students. They had just 4 minutes to wow the audience and share their idea before 3 minutes of intense Q&A. The students gave impressive pitches and all showed viable and innovative ideas that they will continue to pursue after the competition with support from the Generator.
The judging panel for the evening included:
- , Entrepreneur, Speaker, and Author
- , BBC 'The Apprentice' 2025
- , Founder of Ella Ensures
