Dr Adi Sodhi
Senior Lecturer in Accounting and Finance
Dr Sodhi is a Senior Lecturer in Accounting and Finance in the Faculty of Business. An alumnus of the university, he completed a BA (Hons) in Business with Finance, an MSc in Finance and Investment, and a PhD in Corporate Finance between 2010 and 2019. For his doctoral studies, he was awarded a prestigious Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship, valued at approximately 拢60,000. Following the completion of his PhD, he transitioned into a full-time academic role within the university. While serving as a full-time academic, he also completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education (PGCHE).
He teaches and leads modules across undergraduate and postgraduate levels (Levels 3 to 7) in finance, banking and risk management, and supervises MSc and MBA dissertations in finance. He currently serves as an MBA Finance placement tutor, a role he previously held for undergraduate programmes as well. He is an active researcher with a growing portfolio of publications in reputable, peer-reviewed journals. He also contributes to the academic community as a regular peer reviewer for international scholarly journals.
